Amitabh Bachchan’s abdominal surgery was a success, and he is now stable and resting according to his son Abhishek.
Big Bachchan 69, who has a history of stomach ailments was operated on at the Seven Hills hospital in Andheri.
Abhishek tweeted friends and fans to thank them for their prayers and good wishes.

On his blog, Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan 69, wrote that he is to undergo surgery after suffering with abdominal pain. He also said the surgery is ‘not too complicated’.
In 2008 he was admitted to hospital with abdominal pains and in 2005 had surgery for an intestinal condition.
This surgery will be performed in the Mumbai hospital where he was treated earlier.
