19-year old boy killed in college ragging

In a shocking case, a 19-year old first year medical student was killed in Himachal Pradesh due to college ragging.

Aman Kachroo, a first year student at Government medical college in Tanda, Himachal Pradesh was beaten up badly in the name of ragging by senior students. Victim was badly injured on head and died late on Sunday after being beaten up by four senior students of Rajindra Prasad medical college.

The college has earlier booked a case of suicide which was later converted in the case of murder after the post mortem report. Two out of four accused have already been arrested by the police and two others are absconding.

Shocked family members of Kachroo have demanded a strict action against the college. They said that Aman was slapped many times, his head was shaved off and was kicked badly on head and chest.

Aman had repeatedly complaint about the brutal ragging at college campus to his parents and a written complaint was also filed by him and his parents about the ragging. But no actions were taken against the senior and finally Aman became the target of senior student for filing a complaint against them.
