Slumdog millionaire give wrong answer in the movie?

Slumdog millionaire was not actually destined to be millionaire despite giving wrong answer.

Movie ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ is grabbing many awards abroad but has anyone noticed that in a movie, Jamal, a guy who became millionaire was shown winning despite he has actually given wrong answer for one question.

In a movie, it was asked about the poet of the popular song ‘Darshan Do Ghanshyam Nath Mori Ankhiyan Pyasi Re’ and films’ hero Jamal answered that it was a song by blind poet Surdas when actually the song was part of 1957 movie “Narsih Bhagat’. The song was written by Bollywood poet Gopal Singh Nepali.

However, some people believed that the song was actually written by Narsih Mehta, who was devotee of Lord Krishna and was later translated by Gopal Singh Nepali but the truth remains the same that in either case Saint Surdas was not the writer of the song.

Moreover, when in the movie Jamal was asked about the writer of the song ‘Darshan Do Ghanshayam Nath Mori Ankhiyan Pyasi Re’, he was given options – Surdas, Tulsidas, Meerabai or Kabir and we all know now that none of these is the right answer.
