Infant declared stillborn, cries at burial

Mumbai | Miracles do happen in this world. Those who are here to live cannot die even if they are declared dead.

A couple in Mumbai was mourning for the death of their newborn and suddenly the scene changed when they got news that their newborn who was declared dead by doctor cried at burial ground.

A 22-year old mother Aruna was seven and half month pregnant when she had to be hospitalized in Sion Hospital for baby birth. The baby girl was delivered through caesarean section but baby did not cry and the senior recident doctor declared her stillborn. After seven hours of baby birth, the relative took newborn at burial ground and started sprinkling water as a part of final rites when suddenly infant cried and they took her to the hospital’s ICU ward.

The baby’s condition is serious and the senior doctor was found guilty of medical negligence and suspended by Bombay Municipal Corporation. Now the Aruna and her husband Bhagwan are preying for the survival for their little miracle baby.
