Besan ka Chilla (Chick pea pan cake)
Ingredients
1 cup chick pea flour (Besan)
¼ cup finely chopped onions
2 green chillies – chopped finely
½ tsp red chilli powder
Salt to taste
1 tsp Coriander leaves

Method
1. Put chick pea flour in large mixing bowl
2. Add onion, green chillies, coriander leaves, red chilli powder and salt.
3. Add water (about 3/4 cup) and stir to make lumps-free batter.
Leave the batter for 15 mins
4. Put heavy bottomed skillet / pan on a medium flame.
5. Add little oil and pour some batter in the centre of the pan and spread it like omlette.
6. Cook for 1-2 minutes on one side and turn the side.
7. Cook on the other side and serve hot when it’s done.
8. Every time you make another chilla, do not forget to add little oil on the skillet
